The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, attended today the traditional blessing of candles during the Candelaria festivities in Beniel, where he invited the neighbors to "feel proud of their customs and traditions."

"Today is one of the most important days of the year for the municipality, a day of celebration, illusion and fraternity," said the regional chief executive, who also participated in the procession of images of the Virgin of the Rosary and San José to the church of San Bartolomé de Beniel.
