During this morning, the II Junior Challenge returns to the Region Region of Murcia, an important scoring cycling competition for the national ranking and which is consolidated in the regional calendar, has been presented in the plenary hall of the Consistory.

Mari Carmen Morales has confirmed that the last stage of this test will have the official exit located in El Mojón, in addition to a great tour of the town.

This race will be held on August 29, coinciding with the festivities in honor of San Bartolomé 2019 and will continue to hold the name of Pedro García Ruiz Memorial-Grupo Margarito´s Grand Prix.

The mayor wanted to remember that this test meets its fourth consecutive year, since it has been held uninterruptedly since 2016. In addition, the first mayor has stated that "the best guarantee to continue is the push of neighbors, neighbors and athletes from the whole Region that have made this competition a success. "

The IV Pedro García Ruiz-Margarito´s Group Grand Prix Memorial, which constitutes the third day of the II Challenge, has been presented by Jesús García, president of the Beniel Cycling Club.

In his speech, he highlighted that since 2016 this race has laid the foundations to restore Beniel as a key piece of regional cycling.

Antonio Iniesta, responsible for the Valverde Team-Terra Fecundis, a team that organized the first of the three events, also took part. Antonio Cárceles, secretary of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia, also spoke.

The other test that makes up the II Challenge is the one organized by Cyclist Club Ciclos Sarabia, which could not be present at the event.

To conclude the event Morales has thanked all the participating entities for their work to carry out this initiative, as well as the Local Police agents, Civil Protection volunteers and sponsors.
