The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment has put out to tender the works of various collectors in the municipality of Beniel.
This infrastructure will improve both sanitation and rainwater collection in the urban area, and will benefit more than 5,000 people.
The deadline for submitting offers ends on January 13.
The project has a budget of 449,289 euros, will be carried out by the General Water Directorate and has an estimated execution period of 6 months.
The first section of the collector, 462 meters, covers the Los Florencios Rail to Río Duero Street.
The second section, of 120 meters, extends from the southern area of ​​the RM-820 road to the vicinity of the Rocasa company.
The third section will consist of the replacement of the existing collector, very damaged, by another with a 200 mm diameter pipe, to make the crossing with the Gironde ditch feasible.
For its part, the fourth section of the collector will be carried out parallel to the existing network, which is also deteriorated, replacing it along 80 meters to Río Duero Street.
Finally, the fifth section, of 219 meters, will run along Calvo Sotelo Avenue from Raal Street to José Pujante Avenue, adequately resolving rainwater collection in the urban area.
