The Civil Guard dismantles an active point of sale of drugs in Beniel (27/12/2019)

A large amount of marijuana, hashish, cocaine and ecstasy have been seized during the search.

Cash, tenths of lottery and other objects related to the criminal activity clarified have also been seized.

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in the framework of services aimed at preventing and prosecuting drug trafficking, has developed in Beniel the operation 'Tamsah', which has culminated with the disarticulation of the criminal group, which was leading an important point of drug sales, and the seizure of a large number of narcotic substances and effects related to the illicit activity clarified.

After the operation, members of the Prevention of Public Safety of the Benemérita have arrested four people and have seized 3.5 kilos of marijuana, more than a kilo of hashish, a score of cocaine doses and several ecstasy pills, all ready for imminent distribution.

The proceedings began when the Civil Guard detected an active point of sale of drugs in a well-known neighborhood of Beniel, facts that had generated social alarm among the residents of the population, mainly due to the high number of minors who allegedly acquired substances narcotics in this property.

The researchers oriented the first steps of the operation to locate the property used as a point of sale and identify the group of people who were behind the authorship of the events, also managing to define the structure of the alleged criminal organization and the role played by each one of its members, highlighting the activity carried out by the leader of the fabric, a man who took his security measures to the extreme to avoid his possible identification.

The investigations carried out allowed us to verify that the dwelling used by the dismantled criminal group was an active point of sale of all types of drugs and with a large number of "clients", including numerous young people, some minors.

Once all the necessary indications were obtained, prior judicial authorization, the Civil Guard carried out the operation phase of the operation, a device composed of more than twenty agents, in which the entry and registration of the object housing was made of the investigation and the four members of the criminal group were arrested as alleged perpetrators of crime against public health, for drug trafficking.

During the performance one of them, after observing the police presence, tried to escape by one of the balconies of a fourth floor, being finally intercepted by investigators.

In the registry, in addition to the narcotic substances, the civil guards seized a large amount of cash, numerous tenths of lottery, white weapons and various electronic devices, apparently stolen and exchanged for drugs.

In the building, in addition to the stays destined for drug transactions, there is a room for the preparation of the doses, that is to say a "work area" in which there were different means and utensils for the preparation of the previous substances for later distribution, highlighting precision scales and dose containers.

The operation, which is still ongoing, is still open and in which new arrests are not ruled out, the Civil Guard dismantles one of the largest points of sale of narcotic substances in the Vega Baja Murcia, since the investigation shows that the point Dismantled for sale, it supplied consumers with both Beniel and neighboring towns.
