The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has carried out the second phase of the operation 'NINISTA', an investigation aimed at identifying and arrest the authors of creating a false profile on social networks and the massive dissemination of images of nature Sexual abuse of a minor in Beniel, which has resulted in the arrest of two minors as alleged perpetrators of crime against privacy and self-image.
The investigation began as a result of the complaint filed by the mother of a minor informing that she had detected the dissemination of her daughter's intimate photographs to a large number of people through social networks.
Specialists in prevention of citizen security of the Benemérita developed the first surveys to follow the trail of the committed photographs of the young woman spread through a known messaging application and a social network, all with the aim of identifying the people Who were in possession of the photographic material of the minor and to avoid the increase of its propagation in Internet and social networks.
The investigation has revealed that those now detained had created a false profile in a well-known social network in the name of the victim, in which in addition to the appearance of intimate photos of the minor, were annexed many insulting comments.
The false profile had been closed several times after being denounced in the social network by several users of it.
For the creation and management of the false profile, the personal computer of one of the now arrested had been used, creating two different profiles that were used to publicize the child's intimate images.
Both the victim and his relatives are very affected by these facts, as the photographs have been massively disseminated in their school environment, as well as the town of Beniel and nearby towns.
This type of events carry a great social prejudice for the victims who are jeopardized their intimacy by the rapid diffusion that is made of their intimate images in social networks and well-known messenger programs, reason why the quick intervention of the agents of the Civil Guard Is fundamental to avoid its propagation and the successive commission of crimes by other people who can continue carrying out its diffusion.
The arrested and the investigations have been made available to the Prosecutor's Office of Minors of Murcia, who had already taken charge of the measures investigated in the operation that ended with the arrest of two other minors.
