The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, met today at the Palacio de San Esteban with the mayor of Beniel, María del Carmen Morales, with whom he addressed some of the priority projects of the municipality, including those related to educational infrastructure and road improvements.
In relation to the educational centers, the mayor proposed to the president the need to undertake some improvements, such as enabling shaded areas in the courtyards of the two public centers, as well as the revision and adaptation of the electrical installation of the same.
The president of the Community transferred to the mayor that there are already two projects tendered in this regard.
Regarding the improvement in roads, President Fernando Lopez Miras informed the mayor of Beniel that before summer are going to tender the works for the construction of new roundabouts at the accesses to the industrial estate of the municipality, may begin work in October of this year.
