The government delegate in Murcia, Joaquin Bascuñana, along with the provincial head of Traffic, Victor Sales, today presented to the municipalities of Abanilla, Beniel, Santomera and Fortuna, a vehicle of the Provincial Traffic Authority of Murcia, which will support the local police in these towns in the work of monitoring road safety.
As explained by the delegate of the Government, the purpose of this assignment is to provide the maximum preventative work by the local police as regards road safety, avoiding violations and accidents.
The car, a Fiat Scudo will be equipped with breathalyzer for alcohol tests, mobile cinemómetro to measure the speed, as well as internal communications station and priority warning lights for drivers.
It also has within it a small office where it will undergo the necessary steps.
In the text have been present, besides the government delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana, and the Provincial Traffic Chief, Victor Sales, Abanilla mayors, Fernando Molina, Fortuna, Matias Carrillo and Santomera, José María Sánchez.
10 vehicles delivered
With today, as are 10 vehicles assigned by the Provincial Traffic to the municipalities of the Region, specifically Cartagena, San Javier, Caravaca, Murcia, Yecla, La Union, Molina de Segura, Eagles and today to Abanilla, Beniel, Santomera and Fortuna.
These four municipalities share vehicle.
It shall be done by signing a collaboration agreement between the Provincial Traffic Authority and local councils, under which municipalities are required to inform it of the security services made and the results thereof.
Thus, the provincial traffic control has improved road safety in the road network in the Region of Murcia.
