Beniel City Council has started the payment of financial assistance to local residents.
The Department of Social Services has been responsible for this initiative which seeks to alleviate the difficult situation they are passing through several families in the municipality in times of crisis.
Social Services has awarded more than one hundred aid, 42 months for women is a situation of need and 57 for school supplies, room, nursery and playroom.
Have attended more than 70% of applications, scoring each case depending on individual circumstances.
Scholarship in education the council has spent almost nine thousand euros, and aid for women have risen to 60,000 euros.
In the latter case have been granted 42 months of hundred dollars each, and the other two 200 and 300 euros respectively.
Both the councilor in charge of this area, M ª Carmen Morales Ferrando and Mayor of the municipality Roberto García Navarro made sure that this project is important and necessary for their neighbors, especially today.
"It was an election promise and although the situation is not good for the Consistory, the needs of our citizens takes precedence over everything else.
The granting of aid was also made last year with a budget very similar to that of this year.
